Rescue Services

Our company's helicopters and staff members are ready to operate hospital transports, extinguish forest fires and carry out search and rescue missions. We operate under a leading governmental authority on our rescue missions. Helicopter rescue services in Lapland, like in the rest of Finland, is being coordinated by an organization established for this spesific purpose.

The rescue helicopter "Aslak" is supported by Lapland's rescue helicopter organization. Operating from the Sodankylä headquarters it receives all the alerts from Lapland's emergency-center and from The Civil Aviation Administration's flight and rescue center (RCC).

Heliflite Oy executes the flight operator's position for Lapland's rescue helicopter "Aslak". The helicopter used is a Eurocopter AS 365 N2.
